Caudete is a unique town with a rich history. The locals keep their traditions and cultural heritage alive by celebrating their past with a week long Fiesta in September each year. The town has many buildings preserved from the past. The castle and bull ring have recently been restored, and there are several ancient churches to explore. The countryside has some fantastic views, and is great for exploring by foot or mountain bike.
Just 90 km from Albacete, 75 km from Alicante and 110km from Valencia, the town has excellent road communications. There is a station on the high speed rail link between Albacete and Alicante just 10k away, and express coaches link the town with Albacete, Valencia and Alicante.
The town enjoys good climate which is as warm as the coast during the day, but enjoys cooler evenings making sleep easier. Facilities in the town include swimming courts, tennis courts, gymnasia, several medium sized supermarkets and a good assortment of specialist stores and boutiques.
